Breaking down the basics yoga postures

With so much to gain from a regular yoga practice, it’s important to make sure that WHAT and HOW you are practicing is safe and appropriate. Join Michelle for a 2-hour workshop as she breaks down key elements of some of the foundational posture of yoga asana (posture) practice.
You will learn anatomical alignment principles, where, how and when to engage specific muscles groups, modifications with and without the use of props, and Sanskrit terminology.
Little to no experience necessary however this workshop also is a great opportunity to unpack and rebuild your existing asana practice.
Cost: $40 + tax
Due to COVID-19, this course will be offered both In-Studio and Virtually following Nova Scotia Health Authority guidelines. (13 spaces are reserved for In-Studio participation)
